Today I needed a break from everyone so I could get some alone time adventures. I hopped on a train and went to Pisa to check out the leaning tower. I walked down shopping central street which is always fun way and so many great clothes that I can’t afford, I still had a great time window shopping. I finally got to the tower and I sketched the tower and then took some pictures it was really relaxing and fun. After I took in all I could of the tower then I went back to Florence which is like an hour by train. Then I took a bus about thirty minutes outside of Florence to a city called Fiosole which is way up on a hill and it looks over Florence, it was such an amazing view. I hiked around there then got some lunch at this lovely restaurant that also had a great view. I went back to Florence and met up with Erika and went to Pitti Palace which is a museum and it had modern art exhibits, and costume design exhibits, we saw some really old Chanel dresses and other work from different designers. The museum also had a beautiful garden area with statues and fountains and little trails that we walked around on and just enjoyed the evening. After we left the museum we went to shower and then go out. We ended up going to Sizzle Steakhouse because we were a little sick of eating pasta and pizza and this place had burgers and fries. Then we went to a club call The Red Garter where we danced and people did karaoke and we met other students that were in Florence studying from Berkley and UCLA. Erika got hit on and groped, she said she didn’t like it but I know she really did. It was a fun day we walked to the hotel and went to bed.
