We arrived in Rome and I was completely blown away. Italy was humid but not too bad it was still comfortable. Our first night we took the metro to the colosseum. It was strange to me actually to see it in person. I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. We were so excited to see it that we jetted out of the hotel unprepared for the huge down pour that drenched all of us. We didn’t care because we were at the colosseum. The architecture was crazy stunning and so beautiful. We walked by the forum which was also incredible I loved it. We also went to the forum museum and checked out some awesome art. I liked Rome it was huge very crowded, fast paced and perfect. It was easy to get around and an eye opening experience.
you guys went to Rome first? that was a good idea. I once read that if you're going to do Europe to do Italy first because if you do it last you are all europed out and the rude people get to you. Or something like that. I had a bad experience on my way to Rome. Some Mobster told me all sorts of scary stories on the train ride over, then told me he was going to give me a phone...well, there was more to it than that. But I was really jumpy the whole rest of the time anyway!
